Claims
Claims of compliance can only be made if an organisation’s management system meets the requirements of the standard. This can be demonstrated through independent certification to the standard.
Claims of compliance must be specific to those activities that the organisation is accountable for and that are within the scope of the management system.
Only organisations that have overall accountability for an event can claim that an event has been managed in accordance with BS 8901.
