How we can help you > Stakeholder Engagement and Issue Evaluation

Stakeholder Engagement and Issue Evaluation

You will need to identify and consult with stakeholders in order to identify and evaluate the significant/material sustainability issues arising over the lifecycle of your event related activities.
Stakeholders
You will need to demonstrate that issues and concerns have been considered and that ongoing stakeholder engagement is an integral part of your management process.

We can help with the following:

  • Categorisation of direct and indirect activities across your event(s) over each lifecycle stage and the associated sustainability issues
  • Identification of your key stakeholders and definition of your sphere of influence
  • Identification of key or material sustainability issues (stakeholder mapping)
  • Creating you stakeholder engagement process
  • Significance evaluation, prioritisation and action planning

A key tool we employ in helping organisations is a stakeholder mapping tool whereby we overlay your stakeholder expectations on your sustainability issues. Based upon the importance of your stakeholders, it will then be possible to prioritise your sustainability issues thereby focusing your resources on the critical issues.

It may be appropriate to complete this activity before finalising your policy.
